Kids Rights eCard Initiative
eCard – KIDS RIGHTS MESSAGE
INSTRUCTIONS
(eCard program open to children in Kindergarten to Grade 6)
1. Download eCard and Instructions from the PACE* web site: www.pacecanada.org/eCard
2. Starting October 31st:
a. Each class to review the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and select one of the Rights to create a maximum 200 character “message” about how Canada effectively supports this Right.

b. Each child should be encouraged to create his/her own message
3. Starting November 1st through to November 10th:
The class selects the ‘best’ message and enters it on the PACE web site at: www.pacecanada.org/eCard/Message
One entry for each class is preferred.
4. A PACE selection Committee will identify the most outstanding message from those entered and notify the school accordingly. This will be completed by November 20th to coincide with Canada’s National Child Day.
5. PACE will work with the selected school to arrange a visit by the Governor General to acknowledge and congratulate the class for the selected message.
